Many of my poems deal in questions, not all of them of the same lonly thought of the first tentative test. So, Here is one that may let you see a mood thats constantly pulling on me...
Can you hear the winds of wild, Begging escape from every day? Coming forth from lands beguiled, Daring you to tread the forgotten way!
The whispers in the night, that crave adventure, The voice in your dreams you've come to know. That yearning inside you that won't accept censure! Then the Wild is calling you, But will you go?
Will you go where few have gone Far out amoung the mountains? Will you hear their wind-swept song? Drink from their crystal fountains?
will you marvel at the night? And the stars their brilliant rapture, Will you stand in awe of heavens light? And reach for but a piece to capture?
Then listen to the winds of wild, That whisper beyond the horizons, And prove to every trial, That knocks you down, that you will rise on!
