Really. The only problem I had with Mama Mia was Pierce Brosdin. He can't really sing, or at least he sings through his nose. I thought Meril Streep was amazing, and that she sounds a lot like the woman on the Broadway show. I think the movie was overall pretty decent compared to the Broadway show. Phantom, I love the Broadway show, Hate the movie.

Agreed! it makes me want to watch wizard of oz again actually. its weird though, how the play is such a comedy but the book...well it can be dull and very.....hard to follow...

thre are always a few rare occasions in which the movie is indeed better than the book. the wizard of oz being one them.

So true with both Oz and Wicked. I find the musical much more interesting then the book. Gregory McGuire writes the story in a hard to follow fashion, and it is sooooo perverted and disgusting that I couldn't read it in the same room as my mom without feeling akward. Too many sex scenes in the book Wicked, but obviously none in the amazingly astounding musical.

Funny!! "Even when she was feeling 'Wicked'"! I wouldn't say reading Oz would be a complete waste of time. The book was good, but the movie was better is all.
