just in case coalescing means to Unite, to come together as one. Thats really what this is, I was in one of those moods, dead set on remembering what most of the time I'd rather forget, and I found a line of poems I'd made that brought together a story, so I'm coalescing them here.
of course its not from THE begining of the story, but it is A begining. it starts of course, with hope, and a question.
Oh, will love be delivered
To me, with dancing by starlight?
When hand touched hand and quivered,
And my heart shone with delight.
Will I loose myself in her eyes?
Find a true love worth my catching?
Will I find a peace like summer skies?
Or a turmoil like seas crashing?
Of love I've know only heartache
And its passing was not brisk
But I could love for her sake,
Some things are worth the risk!
Then a look, and my immediate fall into silliness:
With my head in the clouds
and my feet soon to follow
Love comes down as shrouds
Filling in every hollow
Heart off in flutter,
For only a look,
But against it I'll not mutter,
lest love be forsook.
My muse and me, we sing of love.
her beautious melody filling
It sounds out in medows, and is heard far above,
Listen and know my hearts Willing!
Hear my song, love, come near
know its for you that I wait,
My muse bids me action, not fear
Oh to see you is a need, I never can sate!
followed by a perfect moment, one I still can't shake.
So close and yet so far,
Dancing around eachother,
Wishing on every star,
That one could love the other.
The moon light shines upon us,
As we glide on through the dream,
Around us the crowds are in a hush
As they watch the star lit scene
Her eyes sparkle in the light,
Cast in stars above,
We both wish not to end the night,
Where nothing stops our love.
Though Dawn-light came, and lost the dream,
I'll never see her quite the same,
Dancing forever, on starlights beam,
Where our love met without restrain.
Sleepless nights followed each time I saw her, unable to speak what I wished, rising to a crest
I lay awake, her beauty haunts me,
Another sleepless nights trend,
The Words to capture her elegance daunt me,
Truly I wish this night would end.
Burried in paper, when I wish for sleep
Truly love to the poets is cruel.
But Never think I would would trade it to keep
The lifeless days of reasons rule.
Life with her love instills me with fire,
Burning words to my pages until
Love overcomes me, with endless desire,
To Scream of love that breaks my will!
To tell her my feelings I'd need to sleep
And sleep never comes on nights like this.
So inside, or on paper, my feelings will steep
Bound and destined, With the pages caress.
If she ever found my feelings concealed
Of days and nights and pages like these.
I only hope as my hearts revealed,
And by her peering my word finaly frees;
That every word spoken
She knows was for her,
And tales of hearts broken,
Her feelings will stir.
By her kiss and by fire
I found her
By abyss and desire
I need her
Beloved or belied
Unquestioned or tried
I love her.
Until I started writing TO her, and never giving them. of course when I found she had a interest in writing I began to give her generic ones that I liked... until I slipped up, and I gave her this one ....
I've been lost in day Dreams, gone astray,
I never should have left,
My hearts sad longing fills the day,
Without you fluanting your theft.
You stole my heart, but will not know,
I know I cannot tell you,
For the loss that fills my soul,
Would hurt worse; if it befell you.
I know your here, around the bend,
I see you almost every week,
But if your smiles became a trend,
I doubt that I could speak!
Since you glow when I come near,
Making my thoughts go silent
I will tell you while your not here,
When my words are more compliant.
You are like the air that fills me,
With every breath of life,
You are the dreams that fulfill me,
Delivering me from strife.
I could compare you to the sky,
Honestly, theres no one else above you,
But all that would do is make you sigh,
When I meen to say: I Love you.
of course by my writing style she knew it to be mine. she said I was quite dangerous, and didn't know she was the target, she denied it to herself, and told me I should be careful not to give girls poems like that, that I didn't know what it did to them or I would face consequences. she rattled of how it could never be anyway, and laughed that I wasn't her type...... but didn't stop me giving her more poetry.
Why does your smile never leave;
If not for feeling something?
Why do you care if I see you grieve;
If you think of me as nothing?
Why do you wall your heart so tight;
If not for fear of whats inside it?
If what "Could be" is so out of sight
Why do you pause, when you deny it?
Well, you'll dance around this issue
I'll listen to what could never be,
But I still have questions for you
Questions you still won't answer me.
Why has your heart been showing more
If not for a feeling, you dissemble?
Why do you linger, unlike before
When you leave; Was that a tremble?
Why do I haunt your mind then,
When you are all alone?
Your silence answers once again
But it has a tentative tone.
Do you find cracks in your walls,
When you leave from amid elation?
How does it feel to be poised to fall,
Into the best of all creation?
we started spending more time steeped in poetry, giving eachother ones we liked, mild flirts at best, and due to various conversations, pinned me to prove that she inspired me, I couldn't think of a thing for the longest time, and she was about to prove her point when...
To my darling thats sitting, waiting
That will see in moments time,
While I tap my idle pen, debating
How best to say: "I love that your mine!"
I could speak of your smiling eyes
Or your delicious lips made for laughter,
Though talk of those is far from lies;
Its your heart and mind I'm after!
While your voice is sweet and soothing
And your laugh makes angels turn,
Its your heart that shames the flowers blooming
And your soul that causes mine to burn.
So my dear, when you have read this
I require no reply at any time,
Just to show, I feel our time is bliss;
Even with idle pen tapping, seeking your heart devine.
I thought I'd pulled it off, a bit excessive with the flirt in it, but I had little time to temper what came out, it was in that mind set she made a fatal flaw or a brilliant decision, depending on how you view it. Tandem poetry writing. everything labeled "her's" is actually what she wrote, and "His" is mine. she insisted I went first becuase I had inspiration near by.
Verse 1: his plea
Oh come to me in starlight,
With love I never knew,
So every night will be delight,
And every day with you.
Verse 2: her response
Oh love of mine, love within;
the love so deep and pure.
Cascading through every tendril;
A love for which there is no cure.
Verse 3: his question
Oh my love so deap within me,
Cascading into the night,
Will you come and bring me,
Your love with morning light?
Verse 4: her reply
Oh love of mine, so true and sure;
Wanting nothing more than moonlit nights
Gazing at the full moon;
Wanting nothing more to awake with thee.
What the dawning brings to light
Verse 5: his reply
But moonlit nights, and dawning skys
Only serve to cast you,
In whirls of beauty, and your depthless eyes
Would the moonlight dare out-last you?
Verse 6: her reply
But were thee anyless than the love of my life,
Scared to be with anyone.. share with me my strife;
You're the essence, the being.. God has chosen for me;
Your The reason I linger.. My reason to be.
Verse 7: his reply
Oh love, you sound as if we've lost,
As Two hearts bound from the other,
But I will love you no matter what the cost,
For we belong only to eachother!
Verse 8: her reply
And eachother we do.. belong in love,
Never failing one another;
The bonds that fill our empty souls
Fill within eachother.
She claimed I set the theme, but what began as one voice split in two, and she had no explanation for her half, other than she was swept along with me. so we made made a copy for us both and stamped it the lovers duet, we couldn't hide it, so she asked me to come later that night.
I'm waiting at twilight,
For the moon and the sea;
A riddle at midnight:
A farewell to the free.
I'm asking the silence,
To whisper sweet sighs;
Of a secret Alliance
To the Fire of her eyes.
I'm watching in darkness,
For a glimpse of her soul.
The light of my temptress;
The lost half of my whole.
I yearn for her bidding;
While I wait in disguise
There will be no forgetting
I'll have her: My Prize!
* * * She came
To the Glowing mistress of the night:
Thats wrapped in twillit beauty
That holds so still in the pale light
So I dare not speek, yet gasp to see.
To you who came this afternoon
And graced my day with midnights splendor
I write this now; but worry too soon,
For such words may end in cinder.
To my star of dark and bright
To the maiden thats halted nigh
To her that thrills me to heaven's height
Where all words fail, to you I say... "HI!"
and so it began. . . thats the earliest part, maybe the best time. but all I can handle tonight. so...
To Be Continued.
