So. as I know. You all wanted an end to LYL. And I didn't even give the courtesy of a middle. But. I'm starting a project. You can thank my favorite film directors inspiring and heartbreaking video journals. This is going to take a long time. I'm trying something really different. A new angle. And I can't promise anything. Nor even when the first chapter will be released. I just thought I'd keep you updated. And no....Spencer and Ashley will not be part of the cast Brand Spankin new Characters...i'm hovering over Alex being a main, if not the lead character.

Update: The concept story has been started. Main character Established. Alexandra Marie Blaire Also Established: Location: California
So. Can anyone help with useful All girl's academy names? Preferably ones that would sound....prestigous, and strict?

hmm, first allow me to congratulate you on the dawn of your new idea, and I hope it takes you where you'd like to go.
often times names from others may not suit the idea, so really only you will be able to perfectly match what your trying to convey. But a few guidelines for schools are fairly easy.
1. Schools tend to be named after the area they're in or an important person.
example:
"East Davenport's Academy for Girls."
2. if you want your school to mirror reality you may do some research into some schools that really exist in that area.
3. you can also make a school unique by making it fit into your back story, you could make the name after an important female character which your main characters will find out about.
Example using your characters name
"The Alexandra Marie Blaire School for girls."
4. if you want it to sound more formal, you can add certain things into the name, such as "School of dance" or "School for exceptional girls.", "School of Etiquette." ext...
just a few tips, you don't have to use any of them, but it might help get you rolling on a name. Good luck.

Villanova sounds more formal, but I agree for a story Idyllwynd sounds better.
