Auditions for The Music Man are on Saturday January 17 starting at 3:00 for chorus members/leads! I'm soooo Excited. They are at Easy Street Productions studio on Mahoning Ave. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!

ha. i CAN be ready for anything. What happens at auditions, anything in particular id have do, like what songs and stuff......

Well, be prepared to sing. ANY song you want, doesn't matter. Don't be offended if they stop you in the middle of your song because they have a lot of people they need to see. A choreographer will dance, and you'll have to try your best to get the dance moves down. If you don't do that great it's fine, they just want to see how well you move. And be prepared to read. They'll give you a book of lines and you'll have to read them either by yourself or with at partner.

It's okay I'm the same way. Finding a song is the hardest!! I know. I think I'm singing "Alive" from Jeckel and Hyde. BUt I might change my mind last minute.
AND OF COURSE I'LL BE THERE!!!!! If I didn't show up I think Maureen would either have a heart attack from the shock of it, or be heart-broken. And I'm going to do my best from preventing that from ever happening. Well Good Night Everyone!!!

Yeah, im considering singing this song by Alana Grace (since i know no songs from any musicals good enough to sing at an audition) its called "Black Roses Red". But since i have no idea what kind of music they are looking for heh im out of luck. I know that song by the way, its a good one. No, i dont think we would want anyone dying from any kind of heart trauma. ha. Night. |

Yes, well it wouldn't hurt trying to watch The Music Man before auditioning. It's at the McKinnely (Spelled Wrong) library, or at least it was when I got it. They just want to know that you can sing out enough, and have a good enough voice to sing big belting Broadway show stoppers is all. Well I got to go, exam studies (WHAT A DRAG!)

I am never going to forgive the making of cold and cars. My car would not start, something about the transmission actually being mush and wonder things like that. SO, resulting from this wonderful discovery from the WONDERFUL winterland. i could not get to the play auditions. And i was ready for it. Someone please tell me that it is rotten luck.  |

I am soooo sad you didn't get to make it. I guess you'll just have to audition for Guys and Dolls! Don't worry about it, I'll let you know when and where. Don't give up hope!
I almost didn't make auditions because my car kept on stalling out, and I had to switch vehicals with my mom half way there. I got there with literally 30 seconds to spare!

Oh well im sure that ill like the other one better though, i know the story line to guys and dolls alot more!

Great new Gyspy! I got an E-Mail from Easy Street, saying that they have decided to move the show date of The Music Man to May. That means they will be holding auditions again in March!!!! SO you (and I) have another chance!!!! However, Guys and Dolls will no longer happen!*makes sad face and a single tear falls down cheek.* So, I'll let you know when auditions are again!
